The significance of the Keystone Awards for the Manitoba Chapter of Meetings Professional International (MPI) is to recognize key people that contribute to the betterment of the Manitoba Meetings and Conventions Industry.
The KEYSTONE is the architectural piece at the crown of the arch which marks the apex of the Keystone. This piece locks all the other pieces of the Keystone into place, it is essential in the structure. The award recipients are the Chapter’s key to its success. The removal of one or more of these key people would cause the arch to collapse.
The Annual Keystone Awards Gala event celebrates a year of meetings and world class events! Each year the Manitoba Chapter of the Meetings Professionals International celebrates and recognizes local MPI members and industry professionals who have made outstanding contributions to the Meeting Industry of Manitoba.

THE HORIZON AWARD
For recognizing the sky is the limit, this award recognizes an active member of the Manitoba Chapter for outstanding creativity within the meeting industry and is not limited to only MPI related events. It is presented to an active member, (individual or venue) who has demonstrated, through a single spectacular event or a series of special events, an outstanding sense of creativity, innovation and professionalism.
