<p>We kicked-off 2013 with our participation in the Wonderful Wedding Show last weekend and we want to thank the amazing couples and vendors that visited us in our new booth and in the Inspiration Gallery!</p>
<p>The phones are ringing like crazy in the office and we are starting to meet with all of the fantastic couples looking for help with the planning and design of their upcoming Wedding Events!</p>

<p>The EBE TEAM would like to wish you and your family all the best for Christmas and a Happy, Safe and Prosperous 2013!</p>
<p><strong>Please note that the Events by Emma Head Office will be closed for the Holidays between December 24 – January 24.</strong></p>
<p>Only clients who have events and meetings booked during that time frame will be contacted directly by Emma and the Team. Please be patient with us as we are taking a much needed break after an extremely busy wedding, gala and holiday event season and will return all calls and emails in the New Year when our offices re-open.  We are booking follow-up planning meetings with ALL of our clients for January and February and will contact you as soon as we are back in the office to book your next appointment if we have not done so already.</p>

<p>Well, Wedding season is in full swing and the EBE team has been hard at work creating some pretty amazing weddings!</p>
<p>Lindsay and Daniel&#8217;s wedding was one of the first one&#8217;s we did this 2012 season and what an amazing and spectacular event!</p>
<p>From the moment I met Lindsay and Dan, I knew their day was going to be special and something we had never created in my 20 years of planning events. Lindsay had a clear vision and her and Dan wanted to create a fun party feel for their special day, incorporating their love for the beach!</p>
<p>The EBE team set out to work our magic and designed the ultimate Modern Beach for them. Both the ceremony and reception took place at <a href="http://www.deltahotels.com/en/hotels/manitoba/delta-winnipeg/">The Delta Winnipeg</a>. The staff and team at The Delta allowed us to be creative and pull out all the stops for their event. Hosting their first ever wedding on the roof of the hotel.</p>

<p>Well for the fourth year in a row the Events by Emma Team has had the honour of putting together an all-star team of local wedding and event  professionals for our annual Highstyle Photoshoot.</p>
<p>Each year the shoot gets bigger and better and this year I must say everything was amazing. Our approach was to showcase a classic and beautifully styled wedding from start to finish creating four unique themes: The Ceremony, The Cocktail Reception, The Reception and the Trash The Dress.</p>

<p>What a Night!</p>
<p>Is all I can say about <a href="http://www.winnipeg-chamber.com/">The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce</a> &#8211; Spirit of Winnipeg Awards. For the third year Events by Emma had the honour of working with the fabulous staff team at The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce to help produce this event and each year it keeps getting bigger and better.</p>
<p>Held at the wonderful <a href="http://www.fairmont.com/winnipeg">Fairmont Winnipeg</a>, this years Gala event was attended by over four hundred guests from the business community and they were treated to an amazing evening showcasing some of the best business innovators our city has to offer.</p>

<p>Innovation is about striving for better approaches and practices that contribute to the vibrancy of our businesses and our city. Innovation enriches our city, but for many businesses and organizations today, innovation is about survival.The Spirit of Winnipeg Awards are presented annually by The Chamber and BDO Chartered Accountants to six local companies, charities, and not-for-profits that have embraced change by taking a concept or idea and choosing to do things differently.</p>

<p>This year Events by Emma had the privilege of working with the fabulous group of staff and volunteers from the <a href="http://www.alzheimer.mb.ca/">Alzheimer&#8217;s Society of Manitoba</a> on their annual A Night to Remember in Bollywood Gala.</p>
<p>The event was a true Bollywood bash with over six hundred guests in attendance. Held at <a href="http://www.wcc.mb.ca/home.php">The Winnipeg Convention Centre </a>guests were treated to glasses of champagne as they arrived with lovely sitar and tabla music pulling them into our fabulous gala room. As guests entered they were wowed by the rich gold and purple decor and design. All evening guests enjoyed the emcee talents of Ace Burpee, an amazing four course meal customized to the theme with chai cheesecake as dessert! Live and silent auction, indian dancers and more.</p>
<p>Special Thanks goes out to our partners in creating such an amazing event and the Gala Decor Sponsors: <a href="http://www.planned-perfectly.info/">Planned Perfectly</a> and <a href="http://elitelighting.ca/">Elite Lighting</a>.</p>
<p>The event raised over $195,000 dollars for this amazing group!</p>

<p>This year the Events by Emma Team had the honour of being involved with the <a href="http://www.childrenswish.ca/">Children&#8217;s Wish Foundation&#8217;s</a> third annual Shiver Ball Gala. The event was held at <a href="http://www.fairmont.com/winnipeg">The Fairmont Winnipeg</a> and three hundred guests enjoyed an evening of amazing company, four course meal, a live and silent auction, fun casino and the amazing sounds and entertainment of the<a href="http://www.dannykramer.com/"> Danny Kramer Event Band</a>. The EBE Team created a very magical space with dysart blue linens, crystal chivari chairs, and crystal globe centrepieces adorned with authentic white feather boas.</p>
<p>The event raised over $80,000 for the organization and was made possible by all of the generous supporters that attended the event and Events by Emma especially wants to thank it&#8217;s generous partners in creating such an amazing event and the GALA Decor Sponsors for the evening: <a href="http://www.planned-perfectly.info/">Planned Perfectly</a>,<a href="http://www.elitelighting.ca"> Elite Lighting</a>, <a href="http://maxprolighting.com/">Max Pro Lighting</a> and <a href="http://www.modularstorage.com/">Modular Storage Systems</a>.</p>
